Hey Everybody,

Today we went to the Louvre. Well, really it started with us sleeping through the alarm and then realizing we only had 20 minutes to get ready. Then running through the rain to hop on the metro only to realize we took one going in the opposite direction. When it was all said and done we managed to make our meet time for the tour right about when it was scheduled to start. This ended up being an even smaller tour than our last with just 1 other couple from Turkey joining us. It was nice having a smaller group as the guide was able to ask us how familiar we were with various things and then tailor the information.

We saw so much that it's hard to go over it all. Greek and Roman sculptures, the palace architecture, art by all the ninja turtles (Leonardo, Donatello, Michaelangelo and Raphael) as well as lots and lots of history. After the tour it was the afternoon, so we ate lunch on one of the Louvres courtyard balconies. After that we walked through many of the same exhibits we saw previously to take pictures as well as look more closely at some of the artwork.

We ended up leaving around 5, so we spent most of the day there. Tomorrow is our Sainte Chapelle and Notre Dame tour. It's supposed to rain again so I'm not sure if we will be climbing the Notre Dame tower like we had planned.
